travelling
Over the summer of 2015 I decided to travel the North coast of Norfolk, from Mundesley up to Wells-next-the-sea for a month. Over the course of the month I explored the different beautiful landscapes that Norfolk had to offer. Due to growing up within the city of Birmingham, I wasn't introduced daily into these spaces. So I decided to explore these landscapes, collecting things that interested me and create work from them.
Over the course of the month I explored different landscapes, from cliffs to beaches. Each space was beautiful and had a lot of offer that interested me. However, towards the end of my travel I returned to West Runton, a place that has always interested me, to conclude my journey. When I returned to the space, the usual quiet landscape was buzzing with life due to a performance being performance on the beach called The Walking Elephant.
