Dinh Q Le
The Colony
Ikon, First Floor Galleries.
Within the space that Q Le was displaying, a television screen was displayed flat on the ground with the screen facing upwards. The space was dark so having this bright light shining pulled me through the darkness to the piece. This reflected the sensation I wanted to create for visitors for the space I am working in within County Hall. However, it was a different type of pulling sensation. I felt like a moth to a flame, finding light within the pitch black space and being drawn towards the only light source within the room. This won't be a possible sensation to have within the outdoor space of County Hall, but it was interesting for myself to experience different pulling sensations within different settings.
